My Room is a safer space
The below list, posted in multiple places in My Room, will continually evolve as we discover ways to ensure even greater safety for all those who come here to work and play. Please do share if you have thoughts about how we could do so even more fully.
If you feel that anyone has violated the above policies, we hope you'll speak up in the moment and/or email jon@singasecret.com. If you feel that Jonathan Stancato is the one who has violated these policies, please contact any of the other My Room practioners.
- All who work here are committed to making our practices safe and accessible to everyone.
- It is our highest priority to approach art and healing with the intent of creating a space that is feminist, anti-racist, queer- and trans-friendly, body-positive, and intergenerational in every way.
- In My Room, no one, including practitioners and facilitators, will touch someone else without affirmative consent.
- We invite you to honor your own physical and emotional boundaries, and we will respect them to the best of our understanding.
- With the exception of conscious guided medicine work, My Room is a sober space, and no alcohol is permitted on the premises.
- Together we'll reduce waste and follow the best recycling and composting practices available to us.
- We will pursue compassionate pricing and flexible financial practices that are ethical and humane.
