The rooms of My Room
The Birch ForestWhen designing this space, we wanted to conjure a forest dense with birch trees in October. With walls saturated in vibrant yet grounding colors, the space is also decorated with real birch, cork, and dried moss.
This 22' x 37' (814 square feet) space is perfect for workshops, classes, rehearsals, meetings, and any other group gathering. Capacity is limited to 20 participants (not including the presenting practitioners, performers, or facilitators). It features:

The Desert OasisWhen designing this space, we wanted to conjure the brilliance of a desert sunset. With gilded walls in warm, relaxing oranges, yellows, and reds, and a beautiful sunset mural, the space is also decorated with cholla wood and soft, decadent textiles.
This 14' x 16' lounge is perfect as a waiting room for your clients, a gathering room for breaktimes, or for workshops, classes, and performances that could benefit from a cozy, more domestic vibe. It features:

The Elephant TrunkWhen designing this space, we wanted to conjure the serenity of blue skies and wide open spaces. With gentle hues of blue that feel almost luminescent, the space is both inviting and peaceful.
This 14' x 16' healing suite is perfect for therapists, bodyworkers, energyworkers, and coaches. All modalities are welcome. It features:

The Lion's DenWhen designing this space, we wanted to conjure a magical cave, dimly lit yet filled with wonder. The deep dark navy blues of the walls are complemeted by sparkly black glitter accents.
This 9'x14' sanctuary is perfect for musicians and musical instruction, breathwork, sound-healing, various therapeutic modalities, coaching, small rehearsals, and more. It features:

"Before" PhotosBefore my room became My Room on January 1, 2020, it was a lovely and much-loved rehearsal studio run by David Mogentale called Altered Stages 2.
My Room founder Jonathan Stancato worked closely with designer Jeremiah Cothren and many members of the My Room community (especially Janna Craze, Sean Cronin, Alison McLaughlin, Lisa Pannek, Erika Lee Sengstack, & Melodie Stancato) to envision how to create multiple immersive, mood-altering spaces while still honoring the features that drew artists to work here for so many years. Nadav Tanners provided invaluable support in helping us source furnishings affordably. |
